Tragedy in Marbella was a unfortunate error of judgment – LaRepú

Mr. Director:

We cannot distrust the report of the Army ensures that training’ on the beach Marbella, which took the lives of four young soldiers, was not there, nor scheduled, nor authorized; but we know that many officers in charge of these practices tend to arrogate to itself a margin for personal initiatives. This would be the explanation of the tragedy: The chief in charge decided that the soldiers, who had just done a running race of several miles down to the shore of the beach, ignoring the signs warning of the danger, and allowed, and perhaps encouraged, to enter the sea, with the same clothes campaign, and even with boots on. It would be a lamentable error of judgment.
