Marbella (Spain), 16 jul (EFE).- The Global Foundation Gif, created by businesswoman and philanthropist Maria Bravo and amadrinada by actress Eva Longoria, has awarded a prize to the work developed by the foundations Want to and Visual Learners during their gala event of the summer was held this evening in Marbella (Malaga).

For its part, the Foundation Visual Learners, focused on improving the lives of children with autism so that they can develop to their maximum potential, it has been awarded with the prize ‘The Global Gift Philantropist Award’.
For Maria Bravo, “this is a night of celebration, it is the sixth year that we are here and what this is about is that it’s a night out endearing because the House Global Gift is already a fact and in addition we will award two foundations that do outstanding work”.
The gala, which has gathered in the hotel Gran Meliá Don Pepe to 300 people, has been presented by the puerto rican actor Amaury Nolasco and model Lorena Bernal and has counted with the performances of the dancer Rafael Amargo, the cuban singer Descemer Bueno and the british singer Steve Edwards.
The solidarity event has been attended by personalities from the world of music and television as Lisa Scott Lee, Ana Obregon, Melissa Nkonda, and Nuria Fergó.
The charity gala has explained also with the presence of the rugby player, british Chris Robshaw, Beatriz de Orleans and Olivia de Borbón.
The sixth edition of the appointment of philanthropy has taken this year the seal culinary chef Rodrigo de la Calle, creator of the frial and Michelin star restaurant in madrid, ‘The Greenhouse’, and the Torres brothers, who run the establishment, ‘Two Heavens’, in Barcelona, also with a Michelin star.
They have been accompanied by the chef of the hotel Gran Meliá Don Pepe, Víctor Carracedo, and by Jean-Philippe Darcis, that has been repeated in this edition as a master pastry chef.
The funds raised during the events held on the Weekend of Philanthropy, Global Gift will be allocated to the commissioning of the House Global Gift, which will be located in Marbella and will be the first shelter in the world of the foundation.
The multifunctional center, which will serve children with rare diseases or chronic and which will be managed by five associations, will be located on a property whose assignment, for a period of 30 years was approved last may by the city Council of Marbella. EFE
