Walking and enjoying a cold drink, the exburrier Michaella McCollum was captured basking in the sun in Spain, after serving his sentence of 6 years in prison in Peru for the crime of drug trafficking.
Michaella McCollum, of 24 years and natural of the county Tyrone, in Northern Ireland, was jailed in Peru in 2013 for attempting to carry a load of cocaine into Spain together with another woman, Melissa Reid.
As you recall, Michaella McCollum had traveled to South america to carry the drug smuggling at the beginning of August 2013, as part of a criminal gang in the Balearic islands of Ibiza.
By those dates Michaella McCollum had arrived to Ibiza, where she worked as a dancer in a bar during the summer. After serving his sentence he was caught vacationing in Marbella, Spain.
Earlier this month, Michaella McCollum posted a message on Facebook thanking “to his family and to those who have supported her in all these past years.” She returned to Northern Ireland last August.
